Physicians Medical Group of San Jose, Inc. (PMGSJ) is a dedicated group of physicians who joined together in 1980 to form an Independent Physicians Association (IPA) for the purpose of providing health care to their patients who were enrolled in Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) or Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs).
PMGSJ has more than 880 physicians who are committed to delivering high quality health care. More than two hundred thirty (230) physicians serve in the capacity of Primary Care, Family Practice, General Practice, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. More than six hundred fifty (650) specialists cover more than 40 disciplines, including Obstetrics/ Gynecology.
PMGSJ offers multilingual speaking physicians and staff for your convenience. Physicians and their staff can help with language or cultural needs. We have primary care physicians and specialists who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Hindi, Chinese, Urdu and many others – in fact, nearly 30 foreign languages in all!
PMGSJ physicians are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week either in their office or by telephone. They provide their patients with preventative care, ongoing care, and urgent care. For life threatening emergencies that need immediate care, our physicians recommend that you call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
